Misty Falls

Misty Falls is a remote 37 foot tall waterfall that is stunningly beautiful. It is located in the Hurricane Creek Wilderness within the Ozark National Forest, Arkansas.

Multnomah Falls (Oregon)

One of Oregon’s best waterfalls. Oregon is such a beautiful state with many different places to visit. Don’t forget to go up and down the Oregon coast and visit many lighthouses, Cannon Rock and Thor’s Well. Crater Lake National Park is an awesome view also. Painted Hills is incredible.

Broadmoor Seven Falls (Colorado)

There is a fee to enter to see the falls, but totally worth it. You can even climb stairs or take an elevator to get a full view of the Seven Falls.

Cumberland Falls (Kentucky)

Best waterfall in the state of Kentucky. The gorge that the Cumberland River cuts through is so “Gorgeous” LOL. While there, don’t forget Eagle Falls nearby.

Devil’s Kettle Falls (Minnesota)

One of my favorite falls in Minnesota because of the beautiful hike and you can visit the Upper Falls of Brule River along the hike to Devil’s Kettle Falls. The other reason is that there are two falls that make up Devil’s Kettle Falls and one of the falls drops into what appears as a […]

Upper Tahquamenon Falls (Michigan)

Located in upper peninsula Michigan, this is one huge waterfall. While you are there, don’t forget the lower falls too. Highly suggest Spray Falls if you are in that area.

High Falls at Pigeon River (Minnesota)

This is as far as you can go in Minnesota without crossing into Canada as the giant falls basically fall from Canada into Minnesota. There are dozens of great waterfalls north of Lake Superior in Minnesota. Get a state park pass online ahead of time and spend a few days in Minnesota. Make sure you […]

High Falls in Rochester (New York)

Located in downtown Rochester, New York, this waterfall is cool with a great back drop of the city and at the right time of the day you can capture a rainbow on camera.

Middle Falls of the Genessee River (New York)

Located in Letchworth State Park, the Upper and Middle Falls are worth visiting. Such a beautiful river flowing through an enormous gorge.

Hemmed-In Hollow Falls (Arkansas)

A very long hike and semi-difficult and almost 6 miles round trip. Plan 3-5 hours for this hike and take plenty of water and some snacks. Over 1200 feet elevation change from parking lot to waterfall. Can be very slippery natural rock stairs. I feel 3 times and have scars to prove it.

Passaic Falls/Paterson Great Falls (New Jersey)

Very cool waterfalls in the Paterson park.

Dingmans Falls (Pennsylvania)

One of the coolest waterfalls in Pennsylvania, but you might with to visit Bushkill Falls also. There is a fee to Bushkill Falls, but it’s worth it. There are at least 8 waterfalls on the Bushkill Falls property.

Lower Falls Of Yellowstone (Wyoming)

Located in Yellowstone National Park, this is an amazing view of the Canyon inside the park.

Spray Falls (Michigan)

This amazing waterfall falls into Lake Superior at the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in upper peninsula Michigan. It’s quite the hike, so allow for plenty of time.

This really beautiful set of falls on the Potomac River separate the states of Virginia and Maryland. There is a fee to visit the park, but it’s worth it if you love great waterfalls.

Niagara Falls (New York)

I know, everyone goes here, but I had never went and loved taking the Maid Of The Mist boat tour to get up close (and wet) views of the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls (aka Canadian Falls). Got soaked when up close to the Horseshoe Falls (poncho was given out on the […]

Shoshone Falls (Idaho)

One of my favorite falls! If you are ever near Idaho, you gotta go see this one. Also visit the falls in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Ruby Falls (Tennessee)

A waterfall inside a cave in Chattanooga, Tennessee. There is a fee to take a tour of this waterfall/cave. An elevator takes you like 10 stories down below and a lighted tour takes you to the underground waterfall. Worth the money if you are in the area.

In Campbell Falls State park in CT, USA, the waterfall is almost 50ft tall, two levels and the hiking to the fall from parking lot is less than 1 mile one way. When coming close to the fall (you will hear the roaring sound), the fall is very steep. Extra caution is needed for kids […]

Black Swift Falls

I have a few photos of Black Swift Falls, taken Feb 24, 2017. We were staying at Ragged Point Inn, and Highway 1 was closed north of there. I discovered the falls just by walking around. That was a wet winter, so the falls were flowing real well.
